Now that everything is installed and the panel cover is back on, it’s time to turn on the power. First, switch the new circuit breaker to the "on" position. Then, turn on the main breaker.
Use your voltage tester to check that the new breaker is working properly. You can test the outlet or the device that’s connected to the new circuit. If everything is working as it should, you’ve successfully installed a circuit breaker!
